o Large multipurpose sporting facilities have a total venue cap of 25 percent capacity, subject to density quotient for each space but with no separate patron limit for each space
OUTDOOR SPORT & RECREATION (CONTACT OR NON-CONTACT):
o Patron cap of 500, group size limited to 50 people.
o Subject to density quotient of 1 per 4m2
ALL AFFILIATES RETURNING TO PLAY MUST NOTIFY VOLLEYBALL VICTORIA AND PROVIDE THEIR COVID SAFETY PLANS TO firstname.lastname@example.org
Return to Play Plan
Volleyball Victoria has updated the Return to Play Plan in response to the further easing of restrictions. Please note, the Plan retains recommendations regarding behaviours that are no longer required by the prevailing Government restrictions but are considered reasonable risk mitigation measures that require little imposition to comply. These are recommendations, not requirements.
COVID Safety Plans
Volleyball Victoria Affiliates may resume endorsed activity where their COVID Safety Plans incorporate the following six principles:
- Ensure physical distancing
- Wear a face mask
- Practise good hygiene
- Keep records and act quickly if workers become unwell
- Avoid interactions in enclosed spaces
- Create workforce bubbles
Volleyball Victoria will be rolling over individual memberships that were paid but not realised in 2020; ie for any individual who paid their membership but were unable to take to the court, eg State League. Further, membership fees will be discounted effective now for the beach season or credited into 2021 for individuals who have already registered for summer seasons. Finally, participants in short-term Affiliate programs conducted between now and 31 December, will have their membership rolled over into 2021.
