For the first time, we are hosting an online Level 2 Referee course on Saturday 8th of August.
The new course (re-written for 2020 and beyond) will cover the rules of volleyball, how to score, hand signals and more, all through using online platforms Zoom and Zeetings.
Without access to the courts, attendees will be tested on their ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the rules and upon completion of the course, will be granted a Level 2 Referee Candidacy accreditation. Once volleyball resumes, referees can then be assessed before achieving their Level 2 accreditation.
This is the new Volleyball Australia framework and the Level 2 course has been updated to reflect both beach and indoor components as well as a more in-depth understanding of how to referee at a higher level.
To register for this course, the cost is $80 (Under 19’s – $64).
When completing your accreditation, a $22 fee is payable to Volleyball Australia at time of completion.
|Course Fee (& Post-Course Assessment)||Accreditation Fee to Volleyball Australia||Full cost|
|Adults||$80.00||$22 (as at 29th July, 2020)||$102|
|U19s||$64.00||$22 (as at 29th July, 2020)||$86|
