Volleyball Victoria is pleased to announce Tanya McInerney and Josh Cowan as Head Coaches for the 2021 Australian Volleyball League season.

Cowan returns to the helm after a successful season in 2019 seeing the men’s Vipers win a Bronze medal while McInerney steps into the Head Coach role for the women’s Vipers after spending time in the program as an Assistant Coach in their Gold Medal season in 2019.

McInerney brings a wealth of knowledge to the role with over 30 years of experience as both a coach and as a player within State League and AVL, as well as representing Victoria.  Since stepping back from playing and transitioning to coaching, Tanya has been involved at many levels, from High School, Academies, State League, AVL and the National Junior Program.

Best of luck to Tanya and Josh for 2021 Melbourne Vipers AVL Campaign.

Volleyball Victoria are in talks with both coaches to commence the program for Season 2021 including setting trial dates, training times, competition structure with VA and determine costings.  Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
