Melbourne Vipers Assistant Coach EOI

Volleyball Victoria is seeking expressions of interest for Assistant Coaches for both our Men’s and Women’s Melbourne Vipers Teams that will be competing the 2022 Australian Volleyball League.

Assistant Coaches should be ably qualified and experienced to support and work with our appointed Head Coaches Tanya McInerney (women’s team) and Josh Cowen (men’s team).

All applicants are to be available for scheduled trials and trainings throughout the season.

Expressions of Interest will be collated by the Volleyball Victoria Office and presented to the Coaches Committee for recommendations.

All coaches will need to be vaccinated against Covid 19 and be able to provide a vaccination certificate.

AVL coaching structure for both genders will be as follows:

Head Coach: All trainings, Home and Away rounds

1^st Assistant: All trainings, Home and Away rounds

2^nd Assistant: All trainings (fulfil 1^st assistant responsibilities for home and away rounds if required)

To register your interest, please complete this Expression of Interest by 5:00pm, Tuesday 15th March.

Trials

Trail 1: Saturday 19^th March 2022:             -Women 1pm-3pm (V5-V7)

                                                                     -Men 3pm-5pm (V5-V7)

Trial 2: Sunday 20^th March 2022:                -Women 10am-12pm, courts V1-V3

                                                                      -Men 10am-12pm, courts V5-V7

Location: State Volleyball Centre, 270 Stud Rd, Dandenong North, VIC, 3175

Training

Trainings will be held one Sunday a month during the state league season at the State Volleyball Centre, Dandenong.

Trainings will move to twice a week at the beginning of September through to the end of the Australian Volleyball League in December.

Tuesdays: 7:30pm – 9:30pm V5-7

Thursdays: 7:30pm – 9:30pm V5-7
