Volleyball Victoria is seeking expressions of interest for Head and Assistant Coaches for both the Men’s and Women’s Vipers teams competing the 2023 Australian Volleyball Super League (AVSL).

The season is scheduled to run in August and September with finals to be held in Bendigo coinciding with the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships.

Teams will be a single entity representing Victoria in a brand new format. The new format will be a single round robin with matches being compulsory 5 sets, all to 15 points.

More information will be announced about AVSL soon.

The express aim will be to field the best possible teams from Victoria that welcome athletes from the previous AVL teams, and those who have not previously participated.

The Head Coach should be ably qualified and experienced to lead a successful AVL campaign, be prepared to work with appointed Assistant Coaches who complement their skillsets and within the parameters of the program set out by Volleyball Victoria, and be a unifying coach open to bringing together the Victorian community.

Expressions of Interest will be collated by the Volleyball Victoria Office and presented to the Coaches Advisory Committee for recommendations, before final ratification by the Board.

To register your interest, please complete this Expression of Interest.
