Eltham High School have been awarded the Championship School shield as the most successful school of the 2022 Volleyball Victoria One Day Schools Cup.
The 2022 One Day Schools Cup was held over three days on Wednesday 11th, Thursday 12th and Friday 13th May. Volleyball Victoria were blown away by the 24 extra teams that entered from the 2021 event. Overall there were 220 teams from 39 schools competing!
The Championship School awarded is determined by the placing of teams from each school with a gold medal finish being awarded 10 points, silver and bronze receiving 6 and 3 points respectively. Each subsequent team receives 1 point.
Eltham received 62 points with two teams winning a gold medal, five teams silver and four teams bronze! Eltham were closely followed by McKinnon Secondary College (56 points) and Billanook College (45 points).

The Four Day Schools Cup is next on the Schools Cup Calendar and will be held on 28 July – 31 July. Team entries will be opening soon.
