Sporting Schools is a $200 million Australian Government initiative designed to:
- Increase Children’s Participation in Sport
- Develop Skills
- Connect with Children with community Sport in their local area
Spanning across 5,700 schools nationwide, Volleyball Victoria, along with the national body Volleyball Australia is excited and thrilled to be working closely with Teachers, Coaches and Parents to encourage and nurture the next generation of Volleyball athletes not only now but for the near future.

Volleyball Victoria offers schools the opportunity to internally deliver Sporting Schools programs via their own teacher(s). Teacher Delivered Program bookings are available to suit all individual school needs.
Teachers delivering Sporting Schools sessions are required to be at least Level 1 Coaching accredited and be a current member of Volleyball Victoria.

*Please note if you purchase Equipment Pack 1 or Equipment Pack 2, you are not required to purchase the Teacher Resource Pack as it's included within.
^There are two methods to obtain a Level 1 Coaching Course & Accreditation. The most common method is what we call a "Bulk Upload", which is where users are enrolled into the course manually, bypassing the payment gateway and this is invoiced for through Sporting Schools. For all bulk upload requests, a fixed $5.50 bulk upload administration fee applies.
Volleyball Victoria Sporting Schools programs are designed to introduce the sport to students, develop fundamental volleyball skills and enable play through modified games in a safe and environment. For secondary schools, the program is designed to develop advanced skills, educate students on game knowledge and move towards traditionally structured volleyball games. Volleyball delivered programs are available to suit individual school’s needs.
Volleyball Victoria has established a set of fees for Sporting Schools programs which are designed to ensure consistency and fairness across all programs offered to schools by affiliates and providers.
In 2025, pricing will change for Sporting Schools programs to reflect ongoing demand and the current volleyball landscape. These fees have been simplified across all providers based on feedback and through a review, are pleased to announce the following streamlined pricing structure will take place moving forward for affiliate and private provider-led bookings.

Volleyball Victoria offers two types of programs that Schools can book:
Coach Delivered Program: Volleyball Victoria will organise an endorsed Provider to organise a Coach to attend your school and deliver the booking for you.
Teacher Delivered Program: A teacher is required to complete the Volleyball Australia Level 1 Coaching Accreditation and is then able to deliver the booking themselves.
