Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) – $88

What is RPL?
RPL is a process that enables individuals to gain coaching or officiating qualifications through proof of prior learning. When applying for RPL individuals must provide appropriate documentation to prove volleyball knowledge and understanding to gain qualification without attending the face to face course.

How do I Apply for RPL?
Prior to completing your RPL process please read the following document.

Volleyball Australia Renewal Policy

Complete the following RPL document

Referee RPL form

1. Register and Pay for your application for Recognition of Prior Learning and upload document.
     – Once payment and form is received, Volleyball Victoria will inform you if your RPL application has been accepted.

If you are unsuccessful Volleyball Victoria will inform you of next steps required to be eligible for RPL, or provide information regarding the next schedule Development Referee Course.

If approved, please email a copy of the following documents to development@volleyballvictoria.com.au               

     a. Copy of Current Working with Children Check or relevant VIT Card             

     b. Upload a copy of the online officiating certificate through the Australian Sports Commission                 
     Australian Sports Commission Online officiating course

2.Once all documents are received, Volleyball Victoria will upload your new registration details to Volleyball Australia, who will issue certificates.

Re-accreditation

Re-accreditation – $44

What is Re-accreditation?

Re-accreditation is the process that enables an individual to stay accredited as either a coach or an official. Qualifications last anywhere between 2 and 4 years, therefore all coaches and officials must undertake this process to keep their accreditation.

If this process is not maintained an individual may have to re-sit the face to face course.

Please note renewal can only take place if your accreditation has lapsed for less that the total period of accreditation. Eg –  accreditation period 4 years, you must renew within 4 years of expiration.
