Volleyball Victoria Junior State Team
State representation in volleyball is the peak of junior involvement and representing Victoria is an honour.
Volleyball Victoria annually selects indoor and beach junior state teams to compete at the Australian Junior Volleyball Champions; beach tournament typically held March/April, indoor tournament typically September/October.
In 2020, Volleyball Australia announced that the indoor tournament would be cancelled due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Victorian Junior Indoor State Team
Volleyball Victoria’s junior indoor volleyball teams participate annually in the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships (AJVC) in age groups of Under 14’s, Under 15’s, Under 17’s and Under 18’s for both Boys and Girls.
The AJVC brings together the best athletes from each Australian state with invitational teams such as Thailand, Samoa, New Zealand having also competed in recent years.
Volleyball Victoria’s Championship Teams are known as Blue Teams while development teams are known as White, Gold or Grey.
In 2020, the event was scheduled to be held in Bendigo, Victoria in late September however due to COVID-19, this has been cancelled.
2021 Age Groups:
U14: Must be born in 2008 or later (player must be 13 years or younger as at 31 December 2021)
U15: Must be born in 2007
U16: Must be born in 2006
U17: Must be born in 2005
U18: Must be born in 2004
