Victoria’s newest Volleyball Academy starts in Term 3 in Croydon. Sessions will run on Monday evenings from 6.30 pm – 7.30 pm.
The Academy program will commence Monday 18 July at Dorset Primary school, Prospect Hill Road, Croydon and will continue Monday evenings.
The Academy is for 10 – 16-year-old students who wish to learn volleyball or improve their current skills. No previous experience is required! Any skill level is acceptable.
The Head Coach is Dan Higgins has 39 years coaching experience and has coached 15 State and 4 National teams.
Dan has an engaging style and looks for the good things that players do, plus encourages players to find ways to improve themselves.
Dan currently coaches at 3 Melbourne secondary schools and has coached at over 20 Primary schools in recent years. Dan has helped develop 7 Olympians and has a desire to see all students develop themselves. ‘We will work with anyone wishing to improve and have fun at the same time’.
