Volleyball Victoria is thrilled to announce the launch of the State Junior Team program for athletes in the Under 19 and Under 23 age groups. These teams will compete in the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships (AJVC).

This program is designed to provide a pathway for young players to compete at the highest level and represent Victoria at the AJVC in Sydney, scheduled for July 7th – 9th 2023.

This new program is an exciting addition to the existing pathway opportunities for volleyball players in Victoria.

“I’m really excited to be able to offer the Junior State Team program to our community this year,” said Michael Stevens, High Performance Manager at Volleyball Victoria. “Last year’s inaugural championship was well attended by other states, and I look forward to adding Victorian teams to the mix. The number of teams that we send will depend on coaches’ expression of interest and how many athletes register to trial, so I’m really hoping to see a positive response to the program from the volleyball community.”
