Volleyball Victoria COVID-19 Update – 23rd June 2021

Following the announcement from the Acting Premier on Wednesday 23rd June 2021, there are several changes to Regional and Metropolitan Melbourne restrictions commencing 11:59pm Thursday 24th June 2021. Please see below summary of restrictions that affect Volleyball activities. 

Metropolitan Melbourne 

Community sport

  • Open for all ages, training and competition
  • Density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm
  • Maximum venue capacity 300 people per indoor space and 1,000 people outdoors
  • Spectators allowed within venue and space limits

Regional Victoria

Community sport

  • Open for all ages, training and competition
  • Density quotient of 1 person per 2 sqm applies when using a COVID Check-in Marshal, otherwise density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm applies
  • Maximum capacity 300 people per indoor space and 1,000 people outdoors
  • Spectators allowed within venue and space limits
