13 May 2020
At the conclusion of the State of Emergency (11 May), the Victorian Government eased restrictions commencing 11:59pm, 12 May. The effect being, that individuals can participate in training for all sports, but it must be non-contact, with only 10 people participating at any one time in addition to those people running the training (eg coach, manager). Indoor physical recreation facilities remain closed.
For more information on the easing of restrictions, refer to the ‘Useful resources’ below.
Return to Play Plan
The scope of the Return to Play Plan, the necessary document to enable volleyball to return to court, has now been released by Sport and Recreation Victoria. Significant work has already been undertaken on developing a draft and we expect to circulate to Affiliates for comment next week.
