Volleyball Victoria Update – 2nd June 2021

Following the announcement from the State Government on the 2nd of June 2021, Metropolitan Melbourne’s lockdown has been extended for a further seven days.

Therefore, Volleyball activity in Metropolitan Melbourne is suspended until 11.59pm Thursday 10th June 2021.

For regional Victoria, outdoor Community sport is Permitted for children. Training purposes only for adults. Indoor sport is still closed.

In regard to State League, Volleyball Victoria are having a series of meetings with relevant stakeholders and further discussions will be held with State League delegates before a final decision is made on implications on the State League.

With respect to the Blue and White Jacket Dinner scheduled for Saturday 5th June 2021, this has been postponed until further notice

Further updates will be provided by Volleyball Victoria as per the advice of the State Government. Volleyball Victoria encourage all Victorians to follow the State Government website and social media pages for regular updates.
